Privacy Policy
PZB Assist — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with PZB Assist (the “Application”), developed by Marek Hovorka, operating under the developer brand MH Softworks.
The Application is designed so that its core PZB functionality and user preferences operate locally on the user’s device. The Application does not require creation of a user account and does not operate a developer-controlled cloud account or synchronization service.
The Application does, however, integrate certain Google services for advertising, privacy consent management, and optional in-app purchases. Those services may process information as described below.
2. Data Controller and Contact Information
For processing for which the developer acts as controller:

Czech Republic
Developer brand: MH Softworks
Privacy contact: hello@mhsoftworks.com
Depending on the particular processing activity, third-party providers such as Google may act as an independent controller, processor, service provider, or in another legally defined role under their applicable terms and privacy documentation.
3. Information Processed by the Application
3.1 Information stored locally
PZB Assist stores limited application settings and state locally on the user’s device. These may include:
- whether onboarding has been completed;
- sound and haptic-feedback preferences;
- the keep-screen-on preference;
- theme preference;
- selected PZB mode;
- selected application language; and
- timestamps necessary to implement a temporary advertising-free period earned through a rewarded advertisement.
This information is used to provide and remember Application functionality and preferences.
The developer does not receive these locally stored preferences through a developer-operated server.
3.2 Advertising-related information
The Application integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK / Google AdMob.
When advertising functionality is enabled, Google and, where applicable, advertising technology providers participating in the advertising ecosystem may automatically process information including:
- the device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate a general or approximate location;
- interactions with the Application and advertisements, such as application launches, taps, impressions, or video views;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- device and application information;
- the Android Advertising ID, where available and permitted;
- App Set ID and other relevant device or account-related identifiers where applicable; and
- information required for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and related advertising operations.
The precise information available to Google may vary depending on the device, Android version, region, privacy choices, advertising settings, Google service configuration, and applicable law.
The developer does not operate a separate server that receives the raw advertising identifiers described above solely by virtue of the Application’s AdMob integration. The developer may receive advertising and performance reports made available through Google’s publisher services.
3.3 Consent and privacy choices
The Application uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage advertising-related privacy choices where required.
UMP may process or store consent signals and related technical information necessary to determine which advertising-related processing is permitted.
The Application receives the resulting status required to determine whether advertising requests may be made and whether a privacy-options entry point must be displayed.
Where available or legally required, users may access advertising privacy options from within the Application.
3.4 In-app purchase information
PZB Assist offers an optional one-time purchase through Google Play Billing to remove advertisements.
Google Play handles the payment transaction. The Application does not receive or store the user’s complete payment-card number, bank-account credentials, or equivalent payment credentials.
To provide and restore the purchased entitlement, the Application may receive and process information from Google Play such as:
- product and offer information;
- purchase or entitlement status;
- whether a purchase is pending or completed; and
- transaction identifiers or purchase tokens where technically necessary to verify or acknowledge the transaction through Google Play.
PZB Assist does not operate a developer-controlled billing backend and does not intentionally retain a separate server-side database of users’ Google Play purchase history.
Google may independently retain transaction information in accordance with its own legal obligations, terms, and privacy practices.
3.5 Information you provide when contacting us
If you voluntarily contact the developer by email, the developer may receive information that you choose to provide, including your:
- email address;
- name, if included by you;
- message content; and
- attachments or other information you voluntarily send.
Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for the support request.
4. Information the Application Does Not Intentionally Access
Based on the current functionality of PZB Assist, the Application does not request access to:
- precise GPS location;
- contacts;
- calendar data;
- camera;
- microphone;
- photos or videos;
- user files or documents;
- SMS or MMS messages;
- call logs; or
- health or fitness information.
The Application also does not provide user accounts, social profiles, or developer-operated cloud synchronization.
This section describes the current Application implementation and does not limit disclosures elsewhere in this Privacy Policy concerning information processed automatically by integrated third-party services.
5. Local Processing and Storage
Core PZB functionality is performed locally on the device.
Application-owned preferences are stored in private application storage. The current Application configuration disables Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup of this application-owned data.
Local data ordinarily remains until it is changed, cleared through Android’s application-management functions, or removed through normal operating-system behavior following uninstallation.
Operating-system and device behavior is ultimately controlled by Android, Google, and the device manufacturer, and absolute deletion from systems outside the developer’s control cannot be guaranteed by the developer.
6. Purposes of Processing
Information may be processed, as applicable, for the following purposes:
- providing and maintaining PZB Assist functionality;
- remembering user-selected settings;
- maintaining advertising-free purchase or temporary reward status;
- providing advertising;
- advertising measurement and reporting;
- administering advertising privacy and consent choices;
- detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, invalid advertising activity, or security incidents;
- processing, verifying, acknowledging, and restoring Google Play purchases;
- diagnosing technical or advertising-service performance;
- communicating with users who contact the developer;
- protecting legal rights and resolving disputes; and
- complying with applicable legal obligations.
Information will not be processed by the developer for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate legal basis where applicable law requires one.
7. Legal Bases Under the GDPR
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies and the developer acts as controller, processing may rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the specific activity:
Performance of a contract
Processing necessary to provide requested Application functionality or an optional purchased advertising-free entitlement may be based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable.
Consent
Where applicable law requires consent for advertising personalization, storage or access to information on a user’s device, or associated advertising processing, such processing is based on consent to the extent required.
Consent may be withdrawn or privacy choices may be changed where the applicable consent mechanism provides this option. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Legitimate interests
Where legally permitted and where consent is not required, limited processing may be based on legitimate interests such as:
- operating and securing the Application;
- preventing fraud, abuse, or invalid activity;
- responding to support requests;
- protecting legal rights; and
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Legitimate interests are not relied upon where the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject override those interests or where applicable law requires another legal basis.
Legal obligations
Processing may be necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Third-party providers may rely on their own legal bases for processing carried out under their responsibility.
8. Advertising
PZB Assist may display:
- banner advertisements;
- native advertisements;
- app-open advertisements; and
- rewarded interstitial advertisements.
A rewarded advertisement may allow the user to obtain a temporary advertising-free period after satisfying the applicable reward conditions.
Advertising requests are made through Google Mobile Ads subject to the privacy and consent state supplied through the applicable Google privacy mechanisms.
Depending on the user’s location, choices, device settings, Google configuration, and applicable law, advertising may operate in personalized, non-personalized, limited, or other legally available modes.
The developer does not promise that a particular advertising mode will always be available or used, because advertising behavior may depend on Google services, regulatory requirements, consent signals, technical conditions, and user settings outside the developer’s direct control.
Users who have acquired the permanent remove-ads entitlement, or who are within an applicable temporary advertising-free period, are not intended to be served PZB Assist advertising while that entitlement is recognized by the Application.
9. Analytics and Diagnostics
PZB Assist does not currently integrate a separate general-purpose analytics service such as Firebase Analytics, nor does it currently integrate Firebase Crashlytics or another developer-selected crash-reporting platform.
However, Google Mobile Ads itself automatically processes certain application-interaction, advertising, diagnostic, and performance information for purposes that may include advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
Accordingly, the absence of a separate analytics SDK does not mean that no analytics-related information is processed by advertising services.
10. Google Play Billing
Optional purchases are processed through Google Play.
Google, rather than the developer, handles payment credentials and the payment infrastructure.
PZB Assist receives only the transaction and entitlement information reasonably necessary to offer, verify, acknowledge, and restore the remove-ads functionality.
The developer cannot access or control all information independently retained by Google in connection with a Google Play transaction.
Refunds, payment methods, payment authentication, transaction records maintained by Google, and similar Google Play matters may additionally be governed by Google’s own terms and policies.
11. Third-Party Services
The Application currently integrates or relies on services supplied by Google, including:
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Used for advertising delivery, advertising measurement, reporting, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Google User Messaging Platform
Used to obtain and manage advertising-related privacy and consent choices where applicable.
Google Play Billing
Used for the optional remove-ads purchase, entitlement verification, and restoration.
Google Play and related Android services
Certain Application functionality depends on the Android and Google Play environment in which the Application is installed.
Google’s processing is governed by the terms, privacy policies, settings, and regulatory obligations applicable to the relevant Google service.
The developer does not control Google’s infrastructure, retention practices, independent processing purposes, or systems. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. External Websites and Communications
The Application may allow users to open the developer’s website, Privacy Policy, Terms, or an email application.
External pages and applications operate outside PZB Assist and may process information according to their own privacy practices.
When an external browser, email application, Google Play interface, or other third-party interface is opened, the developer does not control processing independently performed by the provider of that service.
13. Sharing and Disclosure
Information may be transferred or made available to Google and relevant advertising-service participants to the extent necessary for the third-party services described in this Privacy Policy.
The developer does not operate a business model involving the direct sale of a user database to data brokers.
Nevertheless, certain advertising-related transfers may constitute “sharing,” “disclosure,” or a similar concept under particular privacy or platform rules, and this Privacy Policy does not characterize such transfers more narrowly than applicable law permits.
The developer may also process or disclose information under the developer’s control where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law to:
- comply with a legal obligation or legally binding request;
- comply with a court or competent authority;
- protect the rights, property, or security of the developer or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- enforce applicable agreements; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
This section does not create an unrestricted right to disclose personal data.
14. International Data Transfers
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence.
Where the developer is legally responsible for an international transfer of personal data, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable law.
Where a third-party provider independently determines its international processing or transfers, those activities are subject to that provider’s applicable legal responsibilities, privacy documentation, and safeguards.
15. Data Retention
The developer seeks to retain personal data under the developer’s control only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal-claim requirements.
Local Application data
Local preferences and temporary advertising-free status information remain on the device until changed, cleared, or removed through normal Application or operating-system behavior.
Advertising information
Retention of data independently processed by Google or advertising-service providers is determined by those providers and their applicable policies, settings, and legal obligations. The developer does not promise deletion from systems that the developer does not control.
Purchase information
Google Play may retain transaction records according to its own policies and legal obligations.
PZB Assist does not maintain a developer-controlled server-side purchase-history database for the remove-ads entitlement.
Support correspondence
If a user contacts the developer, correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, protect legal rights, or comply with legal obligations.
16. Deletion and User Controls
PZB Assist does not provide user accounts and therefore has no PZB Assist account requiring account deletion.
Users may ordinarily remove locally stored PZB Assist data by clearing the Application’s storage through Android settings or uninstalling the Application, subject to normal operating-system behavior.
Where an advertising privacy-options interface is required and available, it may be accessed through the Application to review or modify applicable advertising privacy choices.
Users may also use Android or Google privacy and advertising controls where available.
Requests concerning personal data directly controlled by the developer may be submitted to:
The developer may request information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant data or verify the requester where permitted by law.
Deletion requests remain subject to applicable legal exceptions and retention obligations.
The developer cannot directly delete information retained independently by Google or another third-party controller. Requests concerning such independently controlled information may need to be exercised through the relevant provider.
17. Security
The developer takes reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the Application and information under the developer’s control.
The current Application configuration restricts cleartext network traffic and stores Application preferences in private application storage. Application-owned backup of those preferences is disabled.
Network communication used by third-party Google services is also subject to those services’ own security measures.
No method of software operation, electronic transmission, device storage, third-party infrastructure, or network communication can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
Nothing in this section limits security obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Your Data Protection Rights
Where the GDPR or comparable applicable law provides such rights, a data subject may, subject to the applicable conditions and exceptions, have the right to request:
- access to personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate personal data;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to certain processing;
- data portability where applicable; and
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
Not every right applies to every processing activity, and applicable law may permit or require limitations.
The developer may require reasonable verification before acting on a request.
Where information is controlled independently by Google or another third party, the relevant rights may need to be exercised directly against that party.
Users in the European Economic Area also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
For the Czech Republic, the competent general data-protection supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
19. Children’s Privacy
PZB Assist does not require users to create profiles or directly submit names, contact information, or other account information in order to use its core functionality.
Advertising-related processing is provided through Google services and is subject to applicable age-related, consent, advertising, and platform requirements.
Where a user is below an age at which they may legally make a relevant privacy choice themselves, applicable parental-consent, age-appropriate-treatment, Google Play, and advertising requirements may apply.
Parents or legal guardians who have a privacy concern concerning the Application may contact the developer at hello@mhsoftworks.com.
The developer does not knowingly use the Application to solicit personal information directly from children.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Application, third-party services, data-processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements.
The effective date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy will be updated when the policy is revised.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, the required process will be followed.
Continued availability of an older technical implementation does not prevent the developer from updating this Privacy Policy where necessary to accurately describe the Application’s current data practices.
